Most HR interviews for freshers cover the same core areas: who you are ("tell me about yourself"), your strengths and weaknesses, why you want this specific role, your career goals, and your availability or salary expectations. HR is evaluating your communication, attitude and culture fit — not testing deep technical knowledge — so keep answers honest, structured, and tied back to the specific role, using the present-past-future structure for open-ended questions.
| Mistake | Do this instead |
|---|---|
| Speaking negatively about a past teacher/team | Keep it neutral or focus on what you learned |
| Generic, memorised-sounding answers | Use specific, personal examples |
| "I don't have any weaknesses" | Name a real one with a genuine improvement plan |
| No questions for the interviewer | Prepare 1–2 thoughtful questions about the role or team |
| Underselling relevant projects | Explicitly connect coursework/personal projects to the role |
Once you're interview-ready, apply directly — no long forms. Our internships are paid (₹3,000–₹7,000/month), mentor-led, and open to students with zero prior experience.
